Product description
Product description
A three-phase charging station for electric vehicles with smartphone or operator panel control. The station offers fast and safe charging with power up to 22 kW.
Stationary charging station with rich functionality
EVPoint EV22 (EVP-3P-22-S2) is a new generation charging station that allows fast and safe AC charging with power up to 22 kW. The device is a perfect solution for charging in home and public conditions by connecting a Type 2 cable for European cars or a Type 1 adapter for American cars.
The successful use of the charging station in public conditions makes this Bulgarian-made station among the most sought-after chargers for hotels, office buildings, parking lots, shopping centers, and car showrooms.
This is not your typical charging station
Adding electrical energy to a vehicle's battery charge is the primary task of any station. However, with the development of software, more and more convenient features are being added to chargers, simplifying daily charging and proper monitoring of all processes.
The EV22 is exactly such a modern device. Thanks to its internet connectivity options (3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet), the station allows remote control and real-time monitoring from the comfort of the EVPoint mobile application. The internet connection also allows for remote updates that improve the device's performance, as well as online checks in case of a problem or malfunction. The station itself has its own web interface for setup, monitoring, and diagnostics.
Through the supported OCPP 1.6 protocol, the station can be connected to any platform that uses the same protocol. This is particularly important when the station is used for public access. Operator platforms, such as evpoint.bg, provide the ability to access and manage your stations, as well as charge fees for customer charging sessions.
Smart charging setup
The internet connectivity capabilities of the stationary station allow for intelligent setting of your charging sessions, where processes can be configured to operate during hours when electricity prices/tariffs are lower.
From the comfort of your smartphone and thanks to the EVPoint mobile application, you can set the minimum and maximum electricity you wish to charge, the time range within which the process should run, and save a daily schedule so you don't have to constantly enter the desired parameters.
Through the mobile application, the station will execute your defined requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency for every charging session with the EV22 station.
Charging speed selection
The charging rate can also be controlled. The three-phase charging station can charge at an amperage you specify, up to 32A - 22 kW. Given the widely used single-phase on-board chargers in electric vehicles currently on the market, the EV22 is one of the best-optimized chargers in terms of functionality and charging capabilities. When installed in a public location where other intelligent stations are also installed, the EVPoint EV22 can monitor current consumption and regulate the charging power of all devices to avoid overloading the grid, while ensuring the process is not interrupted. This function is known as Dynamic Load Management.

Real-time charging monitoring
A convenient feature of the EVPoint mobile application in combination with the charging station is the ability to remotely monitor charging in real-time. This allows you to see the current power, change pre-set parameters, or stop charging if necessary.
Charging history
Every charging session started via the application is recorded and stored in your charging history. From this section, you can generate statistics for a specific period and analyze the electricity consumption used for the vehicle from your home.
RFID and Plug & Charge
If you use the charger for public charging, you can enable the option to start charging via an RFID card. This way, anyone with a specially configured card for your station will have access to it.
When used at home, or if the station is installed in a location where only you have access, the device can be set to "Plug & Charge" mode – you connect the cable, and charging begins.
LED indicator
The round colored LED indicator provides information about the charging status. Through it, you can get an idea of whether the station is ready for use, is successfully charging, or if there is a problem and it should not be used.
Protection and safety
Some stationary charging stations require the installation of additional devices to ensure safe charging, which in turn can increase the cost of the project.
With EVPoint EV22, the installation of such protections is not necessary. The station has a built-in residual current device (RCD) that takes care of problems should they arise.
CTClamp - intelligent power distribution to prevent grid overload
The CTClamp function from EVPoint allows for the simultaneous operation of electrical appliances and the charging station without overloading the grid.
How does it actually work?
Through the installation of a sensor in the main electrical panel, the EVPoint EV22 charging station receives real-time data on the current consumption of the household/site. If the limit of a given grid is, for example, 30 kW, and at a specific moment other consumers are using 27 kW of electrical energy, the charging station will receive this information and adapt the charging according to the available energy. With reduced consumption, the station will adapt the power to the maximum available values.
This way, it is impossible for the grid to be overloaded as a result of charging the electric vehicle.
WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
For your peace of mind, we provide 24 + 36 months warranty for this model, as well as better warranty conditions in case of a problem. Through some of the possible ways to connect the station to the internet, in case of a malfunction, our team will be able to remotely diagnose the problem and find a quick solution. With every new software update with new functionalities or fixes, the version will be updated remotely (OTA Over the Air).
If, in case of a technical problem or defect in the station, it needs to be repaired at our service center, the client will receive a replacement station for the repair period.
Thanks to our many years of experience in installing charging stations, the design of the enclosure makes its installation as easy as possible. All electronics are located in the front part of the station, while the mechanical installation (fastening to a wall or stand) is done on the back cover, which is empty and allows cables to be freely screwed in and run. Once you have finished the wiring and fixing to the wall, the front cover with the electronics is finally mounted. This way, the installation of the station can be done in a very short time, and we have eliminated most possibilities of damaging the station during its installation.
MADE IN BULGARIA
The development and production of EV22 are carried out entirely in Bulgaria. EVPoint is part of the "Daisy Technology" group, a company with over 30 years of experience in the production and distribution of electronic products - electricity meters, cash registers, digital cameras, as well as many software products.
