Product description
Three-phase charging station for electric vehicles with control via smartphone or operator panel. The station offers fast and safe charging with power up to 22 kW.
Stationary charging station with rich functionality
EVPoint EV22 Pro (EVP-3P-22-PRO) is a new generation charging station that allows fast and safe AC charging with power up to 22 kW. The device is a perfect solution for charging at home and in public places by connecting a Type 2 cable for European cars or a Type 1 adapter for American cars.
The successful use of the charging station precisely in public conditions makes the station produced in Bulgaria one of the most sought-after chargers for hotels, office buildings, parking lots, shopping centers and car showrooms.
This is not your typical charging station
Adding electrical energy to the vehicle's battery charge is the main task of any station. With the development of software, however, more and more convenient features are added to chargers, which facilitates daily charging and proper monitoring of all processes.
The EV22 is exactly such a modern device. Thanks to its internet connectivity options (3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet), the station allows for remote control and real-time monitoring from the comfort of the EVPoint mobile application. The internet connection also allows for remote updates that improve the device's performance, as well as online checks in case of a problem or malfunction. The station itself has its own web interface for setup, monitoring, and diagnostics.
Through the supported OCPP 1.6 protocol, the station can be connected to any platform that works with the same protocol. This is especially important when using the station for public use. Operator platforms, such as evpoint.bg, provide access and management of your stations, as well as charging fees for customer recharges.

Charging speed selection
The charging rate can also be controlled. The three-phase charging station can charge at an amperage you specify up to 32A - 22 kW. Given the widely used single-phase onboard chargers in electric vehicles currently on the market, the EV22 stands out as one of the most optimized chargers in terms of functionality and charging capabilities.
When installed in a public location where other smart stations are also installed, the EVPoint EV22 can monitor current consumption and regulate the charging power of all devices to avoid overloading the network, while ensuring the process is not interrupted. This feature is known as Dynamic Load Management.

Real-time charging monitoring
A convenient feature of the EVPoint mobile application in combination with the charging station is the ability to remotely monitor charging in real time. This way you can see the current power, change pre-set parameters or stop charging if necessary.
Charging History
Every charge initiated through the application is recorded and stored in your charging history. From this section, you can export statistics for a certain period and analyze the electricity consumption used for the vehicle from your home.
RFID and Plug & Charge
If you use the charger in a public location, you can enable an option to start charging via an RFID card. This way, anyone with a specially programmed card for your station will have access to it.
When used at home, or if the station is installed on a property that only you have access to, the device can be set to "Plug & Charge" mode - you connect the cable and charging begins.
LED indicator
The colored LED indicator on the front panel displays information about the charging status. Through it, you can get an idea of whether the station is ready for use, is charging successfully, or has a problem and should not be used.
Protection and safety
Some stationary charging stations require the installation of additional devices to ensure safe charging, which in turn can increase the cost of the project.
With the EVPoint EV22, the installation of such protections is not necessary. The station has a built-in residual current device that monitors for current leaks and, in case of a problem, cuts off the power to the electric vehicle.
Easy installation and convenient cable placement

With EVPoint's new charging station model, the designers of the enclosure have made several very practical decisions. One of them is the ability to wrap the cable around the station itself so that it doesn't get dirty and doesn't get in your way when it's on the floor. This eliminates the need for an additional cable holder; you can eventually add a small holder to the station for locking the Type 2 plug itself, which is placed near the station.
One of the most important advantages of this charging station model is its easy installation. A special bracket, included in the station's kit, is provided for mounting the station on a wall or pedestal. Unlike most station models on the market, with the EVPoint EV22 Pro, you don't need to disassemble the entire enclosure to connect the electrical power and LAN cable. To protect the device's electronics, all connecting modules are located in a separate compartment of the enclosure, which is accessed by removing the cover at the bottom of the front panel. The power cables are connected via a quick-connect terminal; it is advisable to use a flexible multi-strand cable. Connecting a LAN cable or inserting a SIM card is not a problem, as their slots are also in this compartment.
CTClamp - intelligent power distribution to avoid network overload
The CTClamp function from EVPoint allows the simultaneous operation of electrical appliances and the charging station without overloading the network.
How does it actually work?
Through the installation of a sensor in the central electrical panel, the EVPoint EV22 PRO charging station receives real-time data on the current consumption of the household/object. If the limit of a given network is, for example, 30 kW, and at a specific moment other consumers are using 27 kW of electrical energy, the charging station will receive information and adapt the charging according to the available energy. With reduced consumption, the station will adapt the power to the maximum available values.
In this way, it is impossible for the network to be overloaded as a result of charging the electric vehicle. In most cases, you will not need to request a higher power for your utility connection, because with the power regulation function, you will be sure that the main circuit breaker will never trip and you will be able to simultaneously charge your electric vehicle and use other powerful electrical appliances in the same installation.
The sensor is intended for installation in the main distribution electrical panel from which the station is powered. Each of the current transformers is attached to the phase conductor. It is not necessary to disconnect the conductor, because the current transformer opens like a clamp and locks once mounted on the cable. To connect the CT Clamp sensor to the charging station, a four-core cable must be routed between the panel and the charging point. For longer distances, it is recommended to use a twisted pair cable. An FTP cable can also be used, with four of the conductors used for the CT Clamp, and the other four can be used for the "Dynamic Load Management" (DLM) function or for an internet connection via Ethernet.
