Whether you want to charge in the garage or are planning a trip, the portable charger from Duosida V3 (2080-V3-PSE-16-5C-ES) will provide you with charging power up to 3.7 kW (16 amps). In fact, this is the maximum that can be charged from single-phase household Schuko outlets.

Most brand new electric vehicles come with a similar device for home charging, but in most cases, factory cables allow charging at a maximum of 10A - 12A, which is no more than 2.7 kW. In contrast, with the Duosida cable, you will be able to charge about 35% (1 kW) faster, thus reducing the time required to recharge your battery.

If you use the device for charging from different locations, you can also rely on the practical Duosida bag, which allows for convenient storage and transport of the cable – your trunk will be tidy.

Display and Indicator

The LED indicator provides information about the charging status or signals a possible malfunction. With normal power supply, you will see a flashing green light, a "running" green light during charging, and a solid green light when charging is complete. If there is a malfunction, you will receive a red indication.

Delayed Start

With the delayed start function, you can choose when charging should begin. Options include 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours, allowing you to set the charging session to occur during a lower electricity tariff. In delayed start mode, you will see a yellow LED indication. The setting is made through the device's menu, where different options are selected by pressing the touch button, and the chosen value is confirmed by a long press.

Protection and Safety

The term for this device is "ICCB (In Cable Control Box)". Simply put, this is an electric vehicle charging cable with control electronics integrated into the cable. One of its functions is to regulate the power of the electric vehicle's onboard charger by indicating the maximum charging power at the outlet to which the electric vehicle is connected, as well as to measure the amount of electricity charged.

The portable charging station Duosida V3 has a built-in temperature sensor (thermocouple) in the Schuko power plug. In case of a loose connection in the outlet or another malfunction, if the plug's temperature starts to rise and exceeds the set limit, the device will cut off power to the electric vehicle to protect the outlet and cable from overheating.
